Reduce Reuse Recycle

This week we used the milk bottles that families have kindly been collecting for us. With collaboration with the children we came up with a very innovative way of storing hats. This project not only teaches our children about recycling but also about resourcefulness.

From little things Big things grow

This week the children from the Wattle Room planted some seeds in preparation of our new kitchen gardens. Seeds planted this week are  coriander,  parsley,  peas and  shallots. We aim to use all our produce from our Kitchen Garden in our centre kitchen and served with some delicious meals for the children!

Meet Henrietta

Henrietta is a our newest member to the Wintergrove family, she has been having a fabulous time in the newly made chicken coop. Thank you to all the families who attended our working bee over the weekend, the children have been enjoying the improved outdoor spaces and we owe it all to our wonderful families here at Wintergrove!

Dance Performance

Gwenda Stanley belongs to the mighty tribe of “Corben Gomeroi” in Moree from the black soil plains of North Western NSW.  Gwenda will be visiting the Centre on Thursday 16th June from 10.00am to perform a traditional dance performance and to share with the children her indigenous heritage. ALL WELCOME.
